Easy Agile Programs and Roadmaps are now on Forge
Easy Agile Programs and Easy Agile Roadmaps are now running natively on Atlassian Forge, Atlassian's modern cloud platform. This migration from Atlassian Connect is complete for both apps, bringing improved reliability, security, and a stronger foundation for future development.
What this means for you
In day-to-day use, both apps work the same way. A few small changes are hard to avoid:
Minor cosmetic updates (e.g. refreshed logo)
Custom fields on work items will link to the work item search page, showing all items in a program or increment
App URLs will change, so saved bookmarks may need updating. You can still access the app from Jira navigation.
No downtime is expected. No pricing changes. No changes to data residency or compliance documentation. Administrators should not need to approve new permissions.
Why it matters
Forge is where Atlassian is investing for the future of Cloud apps. Running natively on Forge means greater reliability, stronger security, and a platform that allows us to keep shipping improvements and new features.
Legacy Roadmaps retired
The legacy version of Easy Agile Roadmaps on Cloud has been retired alongside this migration. All Cloud customers now use the upgraded experience, which includes hierarchy and theme views, compact mode, private roadmaps, and the ability to create Jira work items directly from the roadmap.
If you're migrating from Data Centre to Cloud
JCMA (Jira Cloud Migration Assistant) requires minimum DC versions to work with the Forge-native Cloud apps:
Programs: v8.5 or later
Roadmaps: v5.1.0 or later
Note: Atlassian does not currently support JCMA from Jira 11. Customers on Jira 11 will need Jira 10 for migrations until Atlassian adds support.
What about TeamRhythm?
Easy Agile TeamRhythm will follow the same path to Forge in the coming months. We'll share more details as the migration progresses.
