Hit Your PI Goals Faster with the New Objectives Report
Whether you’re a Product Owner, Scrum Master, Engineering Manager or Release Train Engineer, you can now see every Program Increment objective—and its real-time progress—in one place. The new Objectives report turns scattered data into a single, shareable view so you can spot slipping goals early, celebrate wins, and keep stakeholders confidently informed.
Why this matters
Team leads told us they struggle to judge if they’re on track, which makes it harder to adjust plans and update leadership—ultimately putting objectives at risk. By centralising objective status and progress, you can help teams course-correct sooner and be confident that you're on track with what matters.
What’s new
Objectives report – Lists every team objective for the selected Program & Increment, with colour-coded progress bars that update automatically from linked Jira issues.
Team filter & smart defaults – Open the report and it auto-selects the Program/Increment you were last viewing; narrow the list further by choosing one or more teams.
Deep-link sharing – The URL captures your current filters so you can send stakeholders straight to the exact view you’re seeing.
Export to PNG – Instantly download a snapshot of the report for exec decks or status emails for both your objectives and dependencies reports in Programs
Key things to know
Objective status at-a-glance – Story-point progress recalculates automatically from linked issues - no manual rework
Permissions-aware – The report respects Jira board permissions, ensuring users only see data they’re allowed to view.
