TeamRhythm Planning Poker in Issue View

Now available in Data Center

Planning Poker in TeamRhythm’s User Story Map has been a favorite among our Cloud users.

We’re pleased to announce that Planning Poker in Issue View is now available for our Data Center users too!

Highlights

Planning Poker allows team members to collaboratively estimate story points directly within the Jira issue view, promoting shared understanding and consensus during backlog refinement, sprint planning, or other estimation events.

• Voting Asynchronously: Estimate issues with full visibility of the story’s context, without leaving the Jira issue view, whether voting together or asynchronously.

• Effortless Vote Visualization: Each participant’s vote is represented by an avatar and a playing card. Once all votes are in and revealed, they are automatically re-ordered from lowest to highest. This provides an easily digestible overview of the vote distribution.

• Streamlined Story Pointing: The most common estimate is suggested and can be automatically pushed to the story point field, reducing clicks and minimizing the chance for errors. If no common estimate is reached, an informational prompt advises the team to re-discuss the item and vote again for better alignment.

• Reduced Context Switching: Review context and submit votes all in one place, eliminating the need to switch between apps.

Update to version V14.0.0 to start using Planning Poker in Issue View on Data Center.

How to update

Planning Poker in Issue View is available on all Cloud versions and on DC Version 14.0.0. If you're on an earlier DC version, ask your Jira Administrator install the update. Click here for a guide.
